"Angi English has consistently demonstrated exceptional excellence as an educator, innovator, and thought leader in the fields of homeland security and emergency management. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at Idaho State University, English has curated a forward-thinking curriculum that integrates critical issues in homeland security with emerging technologies. She teaches a range of courses including resource management, the social psychology of terrorism, and systems thinking, equipping students with a holistic understanding of the field's complexities."

The Association is operated by volunteers and relies solely on the generous donations and corporate sponsorships of its supporters to fund its operations and homeland security educational activities. It is not part of the Department of Defense or any other government entity and has no governmental status
